One thing that has been helping me being a better blogger was my writing schedule. I try to stick to it as much as possible. I dedicate certain hours to writing and I try to stick to my schedule no matter what. Of course, there might be a few exceptions preventing me from sticking to the plan, but usually I am able to stick to it. Having my own writing schedule allows me to stay focused and maintain regularity. I do not have time to be lazy. Every day is a chance for me to write a few extra articles and advertise them on the Internet.

If you write online from time to time, you might have thought about writing under a pen name rather than using your real name. There can be many reasons you might want to use your pen name rather than your real name. If you happen to write on topics you would normally not write on, you might not want to have your real name associated with those articles. I believe that staying anonymous is necessary if you choose to become an online writer. You might not want your family or friends to know everything you write about.

The answer is definitely yes. If you are a blogger, you write for people. If you feel that nobody or only a few people read your blog, you might start feeling discouraged and will stop blogging eventually. You might not even care about making money from your blog. All you care is the number of people visiting your blog. You want to feel appreciated for the fact that you write for people. This is why you care about the number of people visiting your blog.
